This beauty Liliana Elizabeth graced us with her presence at just 6 days new. She was born on August 1, 2017 at 8:44 a.m. weighing 8 lbs 2 ounces.
One of my good friends Chrissy from high school, whom I’ve been friends with now for many years, asked me to take her little girl’s pictures when she made her arrival. We both went to Washington Township High School in South Jersey as teenagers and met during junior year during lunch. I got to be there when she met her husband and started her family. I’m so lucky to know all of them, they are such great people and even better parents. We had so much fun picking out outfits for this little bundle. Her nursery has an underwater theme with a lot of teal, pink and blue so we came across this outfit and decided it would be so perfect. Isn’t she just perfect and those little lips!
Liliana was hands down the best sleeper I’ve ever had. She made my job being a south jersey newborn photographer such a breeze. She went into each pose like a pro. In my newborn welcome guide I send to all my parents, I give great tips and tricks on how to prepare your new baby for their photo shoot. Some of these tips include feeding your newborn as soon as they arrive so their belly is nice and full. Another is to try and keep them awake for at least an hour before their portraits. Sometimes giving them only a half feeding before you leave helps this so they aren’t as content to go right to sleep when you get in the car.
Preparation really makes or breaks the session. Yes, your baby probably sleeps great normally, but they also aren’t being posed and naked during their nap. Its a bit of a shock to even the best sleepers. These extra factors equal extra preparation and equals a great photo shoot. We were able to get all these poses including sibling and family posing within two hours.
Mommy’s favorite pictures though ended up being the sibling pictures and you can obviously see why. She bought every photo of the two of them together. Lucas may have stole the show a bit from his little sister, but that’s completely okay because how adorable does he look here? The below photo may be my all time favorite, those dimples! I believe sibling shots are just as important as solo ones so I include them in your newborn booking at not additional fee.
Thank you again for choosing me to photograph these special moments! Please choose me as your South Jersey newborn photographer. I feel like I become a part of your family and enjoy seeing my newborns grow into wonderful little children as I’m incredibly lucky that you bring them back for their first birthday cake smash and again throughout the years for your family sessions. I have the best job in the world.
